Kent State University launches its 2016 Spring Lecture series on April 5. Giuseppe Farris, the proprietor of Studio Farris Architects in Belgium is will talk about his projects and the importance of integrated thinking in architecture.

Farris’ objective is to find harmony in architectural projects incorporating functionality, sustainability and innovation as well as the client’s wishes.  In his architectural experience, he adheres to a philosophy where the building’s users have a fundamental role in the plan, and where the exterior and the interior has to be based on the same concept and designed as a whole.

The lecture will be introduced by Andrea Ponsi. The event is free and open to the public.  (gréta szabó)
