Fiesole Family Tour
Looking for a fun-filled weekend this summer? Look no further than the FiesoleFamilyTour. Offered every weekend from May 28, this initiative boasts the launch of a new app for residents and tourists alike that wish to discover the rich history of Fiesole, the scenic hillside town just outside of Florence.
Interactive itineraries complete with fun surprises including games and riddles allow families to travel through time to explore the art and history of Fiesole.
Sponsored by contributions from several notable organizations, the Fiesole Family Tour is a part of the Museo con Vista (Museum with a View) project, which seeks to unite the museums of Fiesole, the Primo Conti Foundation, and the Museo degli Innocenti. These fun-filled weekend tours are offered by the Museo degli Innocenti and L’Associazione Mus.e in collaboration with the Municipality of Fiesole and the Primo Conti Fondation.
After picking up a tour kit free of charge at the tourism information office in Fiesole, families may go on their self-guided tour. The kits must be returned no more than three hours after rental. They are designed for two different age groups – one for children aged 6 to 9 and the other for children aged 10 to 13.
The FiesoleFamilyTour app is available on Google Play and the Apple Store. The free, interactive app enables the tech-savvy to follow along with the 10 stages of the tour on their phones and tablets.
