The 2017 ‘Corri La Vita’ Roundup

The 15th edition of Corri La Vita race, which took place on Sunday, September 24, was another success, despite the bad weather. More than 30,000 people participated, from all over Tuscany as well as Italy, raising around €500.000 to be used in the fight against breast cancer.

The winner amongst the women runners was Tiziana Gianotti and among the male runners, Massimo Mei. Tiziani achieved a time of 0:40:27 and Massimo arrived at the finish line with a time of 0:35:17.

Corri La Vita organizers would like to thank everyone who took part in the event, whether a runner, sponsor or host. After 15 years, the nonprofit has managed to gather more than €5 million for oncological research development, treatment, rehabilitation and hospice structures.

This edition’s participants are encouraged to enter the Instagram competition CORRI LA VITA. The photo that reaches the most likes around 11 am on Sept. 28 will become the new emblem, and the winner will receive a Nikon Coolpix Bridge camera. Note: the photos must be uploaded with the hastags, #corrilavitasifaintre2017 and #corrilavita.  (karen gee)
