‘Architecture in Florence’ Talk by Toraldo di Francia

The public is invited to the lecture in English “Architecture in Florence 1973 – 2000: 1, 2, 3” by Cristiano Toraldo di Francia at the Florence campus of California State University (CSU), via Leopardi 12 (piazza Beccaria) on Wednesday, February 22 beginning at 11 am.

Cristiano Toraldo di Francia, who taught at CSU Florence between 1973 and 2007, is an internationally renowned architect, whose works have been exhibited in the major museums in the world (from the Milan Triennale to New York City’s MoMA and Metropolitan Museum). Member of the celebrated Superstudio, protagonist of the so-called Radical, avant-garde movement in architecture, Cristiano inspired with his theories and his projects whole generations of architects.
