Easter Church Services in English & Gregorian Chant

Those interested attending services in English during Easter Week can visit St. James American Church on via Rucellai 9, near Santa Maria Novella train station.  Although the church is Episcopalian, all faiths are invited.

On Holy Saturday, April 15, the Great Vigil of Easter will take place at 6:30 pm.

Easter Sunday offers two options: 9 am and 11 am, with an Easter egg hunt and champagne toast following the later Eucharist.

Guests are also invited to Saint Mark’s Anglican Church on via Maggio 16, right across Ponte Santa Trinita.

Holy Saturday, April 17, the Easter Vigil and First Mass of Easter welcomes the public at 8 pm. On Easter Sunday the Sung High Mass of the Resurrection will start at 10:30 am.

Catholic Mass will be celebrated in English on Easter Day at the Church of Santi Apostoli, piazza del Limbo 1 (near Ponte Vecchio) at 10:30 am.

A Gregorian chant concert will take place during the 10 am Mass of Resurrection at church of San Miniato featuring the Viri Galilei Choir on Easter Sunday.  Admission is free.  (tessa lucia debole)
