Children’s Art Workshops in Palazzo Vecchio

Palazzo Vecchio is offering a series of interactive art workshops to teach the techniques of famous artists to kids through March.

A fresco workshop will be held on January 29; kids and families will experiment with the fresco technique and develop their own art to take home.

On Sunday, February 19 participants have the opportunity to grind their own paints to customize their artwork. The final workshop is a gilding workshop on Sunday, March 12. This will include a tour of Charles Loeser’s medieval and Renaissance artwork collection in Palazzo Vecchio and an activity in which participants will make their own gilded masterpiece to take home.

These workshops are designed for families with children aged 8 to 12 and will take place at the Palazzo Vecchio museum. All are offered twice daily, at 3 pm and 4:30 pm.

Each workshop costs 2 euro for residents, 4 for non-residents and access to the museum is not included. Reservations are mandatory and can be made by calling 055-2768224 or 055-2768558 or emailing info@muse.comune.fi.it .
