Live Monopoly Game Arrives in Florence

Downtown Florence in and around piazza San Firenze will be transformed into a giant Monopoly game board with live players on the morning of April 23.  Instead of streets and sights of historic Atlantic City, 22 Italian cities will be represented with the most characteristic feature of each.

The live Monopoly game is a tribute to the 82nd anniversary of its invention.  After Florence, the board will go on tour in the remaining cities that have been chosen to be depicted, from Aosta to Palermo.  To read more in Italian, visit Florence’s La Repubblica news site.
