Villa Donatello Moves to Sesto

A landmark near Florence’s “English Cemetery” for over 70 years, the Villa Donatello, a private hospital known for its excellent medical care, is currently moving premises to Villa Ragionieri in Sesto Fiorentino.  Originally destined to be an oncological center, Villa Ragionieri is spread over 50,000 square feet and contains 70 hospital rooms, nine operating rooms, advanced technology and has an adjacent parking lot.

The new location will be still known as Villa Donatello; remaining behind for the moment in the historic location are the dental and physiotherapy departments, and the hospital’s lab, all slated to be transferred to Sesto at the end of 2018.
