Peter Rabbit Reading in English

The Harold Acton Library of the British Institute of Florence (Lungarno Guiccardini 9) is hosting an English reading of a Beatrix Potter classic, The Tale of Peter Rabbit at 5 pm on April 20.

The children’s classic is the story of how, despite the warnings of his mother, the rebellious young Peter Rabbit enters the garden of Mrs McGregor to snack on some vegetables.  Listeners can discover how the story ends, which is intended for ages 3 to 8 but all are welcome.

No booking is required, although a day membership card (€6) is required.  Participants are also invited to afternoon tea in the library served from 4:30 to 6 pm.
