Seeing Florence through the ‘Guarda Firenze’ Race

Do you want to learn about the history of Florence while also enjoying a run? Register for the annual Guarda Firenze race, taking place on Sunday, May 6 at 9:30 am. This run, which brings together over 3,000 people annually, focuses on teaching runners about the rich history of Florence while simultaneously promoting healthy lifestyles for all. This 10km (6.2mi) race will start at Piazza San Giovanni and take runners through some of the most important landmarks of the city, including, Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Signoria, Via dei Neri, and Piazzale Michelangelo, to name a few.

For those looking for a more relaxed race, the event also features the Ginky Mini Guarda Firenze 3km (2mi) race, starting at Piazza San Giovanni and ending at Piazza Duomo.

Registration for the competitive 10km race closes on May 4 at 6 pm and the registration fee for both races is €10 for adults and free for children under 14 years of age.
