An Open Mic Night for Lovers of the Word

Wednesday, July 1: OPEN MIC NIGHT at Tasso Hostel, via Villani 15 (viale Petraca/Porta Romana neighborhood), Florence. 8 – 9 pm.

Words are best when shared. Thus, to foster the growth of Florence’s writing and reading community, there will be Open Mic Nights the first Wednesday of every month beginning July 1, 8 – 9 pm.

Try out new ideas, receive feedback on pieces in progress, recite old favorites, etc.: contributions of any format, in any language, and of any time under 10 minutes are welcome. Send an email to marisa@mondodicorpo.com.au to reserve a slot at the microphone.

Conversely, just come to enjoy and join the conversations sure to spring from this warm, supportive environment. If you have a plate of food to share, bring that too.  (bianca cockrell)
