Cascine’s Hot Air Balloon Event
For an entry fee of €6, visitors can see a multicolored sky at the Visarno Race course. Florence is hosting the Hot Air Balloon Festival for the first time on November 4 and 5.
Attendees can explore a grounded hot air balloon where pilots tell stories of their own hot air balloon experiences. Guests have the opportunity to receive their own hot air balloon flight for €250 a person.
Children can make their own kites during a kite-building workshop, so even the younger guests can learn to fly something.
The festival starts at 10 am and transitions into an illuminated balloon festival at 6:30 pm until 10 pm. For those that want to stop for lunch and dinner, there will be a “festa del risotto,” featuring various regional risotto dishes.
