Designer Clothes & Other Bargains at the Florence Vintage Charity Market

 

Friday 11 – Sunday 13:  FLORENCE VINTAGE MARKET.  Lungarno Corsini 8.  Open 11 am –  6 pm.  Free admission.

The Florence Vintage Market, with proceeds donated to the home and hospice care of the terminally ill, will take place at Palazzo Corsini (Lungarno Corsini 8) this weekend.

The organizer is FILE (Fondazione Italiana Leniterapia), which offers free care to patients, including hospital medical exams, and support to their families.

The guest will find a vast selection of vintage clothing for women, men and children, ranging from designer brands and tailor- made to off the rack.  Also for sale are accessories, including costume jewelry.  All have been donated by wealthy patrons.

Designers range from Ferragamo to Emilio Pucci to Zara, offering great deals for products that were once higher priced. The market prices of their items range from €10-50, excluding areas with higher-end dresses, with higher prices depending on quality. (Gioia Guarino)
