Sun. 1: SCANDINAVIAN CHRISTMAS MARKET (Joulutori). Sala dei Marmi, Parterre (Piazza della Libertà) 10 am – 7 pm.

Organization in charge: The Italian-Finnish Cultural Association “Firenzen Suomi-Seura,” with sponsorships from District 2 of the Municipality of Florence, the Scandinavian Embassies in Italy, and the Florentine Honorary Consulates of Sweden and Finland.

Cause: Spreading awareness of Nordic culture, specifically to Italians

Details: items for sale include handmade products, Christmas decorations, books, toys, design objects, in addition to chocolate, sweets, and other delicacies from northern Europe. Santa Claus will be present at this event and will be referred to as Joulupukki, which is what he is called in Lapland.

Sun. 1: ATT CHRISTMAS MARKET. Palazzo degli Affari. 9:30 am – 7 pm.

Organization in charge: ATT – the Toscana Tumori (or Tuscan Tumor Association)
