Free Admission to City-Run Museums on February 1, Followed by a Price Increase

Take advantage over the next several days to visit Florence’s city run museums, where ticket prices will increase starting Sunday, February 1, 2026.  On the first Sunday of the month, however, these museums are free to residents of the greater Florence metropolitan area.

The change in admission will be as follows:  Palazzo Vecchio from €12.50 to €18, Torre d’Arnolfo from €12.50 to €20, Brancacci Chapel from €10 to €15  Romano Foundation from €5 to € 8,  Bardini Museum from €7 to €10, the Novecento Museum of 20th and 21st Century Art from €9.50 to €13,  Forte Belvedere from €5 to €8.

The greater Florence metropolitan area comprises Bagno a Ripoli, Calenzano, Campi Bisenzio, Fiesole, Florence, Impruneta, Lastra a Signa, Sandicci, Sesto Florentino and Signa.
