Free Concert at the German Lutheran Church

The Moser String Quartet

The award-winning Moser String Quartet will give a free concert at Florence’s German Lutheran Church on Sunday, March 1 at 7 pm.  The ensemble will interpret compositions by Beethoven, Weber and Haydn.  The church is located at Lungarno Torrigiani 11.

The group has played in countries across Europe, North America and Asia, including Germany, France, Spain, the United Kingdon, Canada and Japan. Headquartered in Switzerland, the Moser String Quartet is the recipient of numerous awards in the field of the classical music.  The musicians have a predilection for performing contemporary opera pieces.

The church, built in 1901 in a Northern European style, was originally established for the city’s German residents, but now welcomes all nationalities.
