International Designers and New Perspectives Arrive at Pitti Uomo 110

The Pitti Uomo trade fair will return to Florence from June 16 to 19 for its 110th edition, once again bringing together some of the most influential names in contemporary menswear. This summer’s event combines established designers with emerging talent, reinforcing Florence’s role as an international center for fashion and creativity.
As in previous editions, the event will take place primarily at Fortezza da Basso, which serves as the center of Pitti Uomo each season. Some of the special presentations will also extend beyond the fairgrounds and into Florence’s historic venues. Simone Rocha’s highly anticipated menswear show, for example, will be staged at Teatro della Pergola, bringing one of the city’s most celebrated cultural spaces into this year’s fashion show.
The theme for Pitti Uomo 110 is The Pitti Pool, which focuses on ideas of reflection, identity, and self-expression. Inspired by the myth of Narcissus and the colorful style of the late artist David Hockney, the campaign explores how fashion can reflect both personal identity and contemporary style.
Among this edition’s most anticipated guests is Irish designer Simone Rocha, who will present her first-ever menswear-only show in Florence. The London-based designer, known for combining romance, craftsmanship, and unexpected contrasts, will stage a special event at Teatro della Pergola on June 18. Her designs also play an important role in the visual campaign for Pitti Uomo 110.
Another featured guest is Japanese designer Kei Ninomiya, whose work has become internationally recognized through his experimental approach to fashion. Presenting under the DSM label created by Dover Street Market, Ninomiya will unveil the Spring-Summer 2027 menswear collection during a special runway event in Florence. His work emphasizes creativity without boundaries and reflects a contemporary approach that is inclusive and open to different generations and identities.
A South Korean designer will appear as a special guest with a project created specifically for Florence. Rather than a traditional runway presentation, Jiyong Kim will introduce an installation at Fortezza de Basso’s Magazzino 07, allowing visitors to experience the collection in a more engaging way. The designer has gained international attention for his distinctive “Sun-Bleach” technique, which uses natural sunlight and weather conditions to create one-of-a-kind garments.
As fashion professionals, buyers, and visitors once again gather in Florence, Pitti Uomo 110 continues the event’s tradition of celebrating both innovation and craftsmanship. Through its international guests and creative theme, this year’s edition highlights how menswear continues to evolve while maintaining Florence’s longstanding connection to fashion and design.
