Following its success in 2025, Pitti Immagine’s ‘Taste’ food fair returns for its 19th edition. The theme for 2026, titled ‘True Food,’ reflects the fair’s commitment to showcasing authentic Italian products while promoting a sustainable evolution of food, an aspect which drives the programme of presentations, talks and events.

More than 800 companies will display an array of contemporary food and wine from around Italy, with over 100 exhibitors carefully selected for their Florence debut. Regular participants such as Di Baldo Spirits, Marco Seno and Pesto Rossi 1947, will be joined by new names including Borgo delle Mele, Conservas Lavin and Villa Manodori.

The venue will showcase an array of Italian culinary treasures, including cured meats, fish, cheeses, pasta, organic olive oil, authentic balsamic vinegar, bread, jams and spreads, farm fresh produce, truffle products, bitters and digestives, gin, craft beers, wine, chocolates, biscotti, cakes, and coffee, breads and more displayed by producers who offer each visitor information and a taste.

The Taste Spirits section, located at Cavaniglia, presents over 30 labels including gin, vermouth, bitters and spirits which demonstrate the craftmanship of made in Italy products.

Not only will guests be able to speak directly with the exhibitors to learn more about their products, well known chefs and bartenders will also be participating.

The wide range of companies in this lineup continues to attract buyers from European and global markets, which made up almost 900 of 2025’s buyers, reflecting the growing interest in Italy food and wine sector by the international market that Taste attracts.

“Taste Talks” offers a full program of meetings, debates, presentations, and masterclasses.

The Taste shop, where visitors can make purchases, is now virtual starting with this edition.  Exhibitors will provide info how to access the shop online, which offers a 20% discount on all purchases.

Entrance to the fair is via Porta Santa Maria Novella, with registration at the Ghialie Pavilion, the fair’s central meeting point. From here, visitors can access presentations, events, masterclasses and begin their visit to the fair.

Additionally, there is a FuoriDiTaste calendar of all events taking place over the festival weekend, comprising dinners, tastings, presentations, and meetings, at some of the top restaurants, clubs and other prominent locations, throughout the city of Florence.  While most have a fee, a few are free.
