Jazz Benefit Concert at the Innocenti

A view of the roof top café of the Museo degli Innocenti

A benefit concert organized by the American International League of Florence (AILO) will take place on Sunday, June 23 in the open courtyard of Innocenti Museum in piazza Santissima Annunziata starting at 7 pm. AILO is a group which does volunteer work and raises money for local charities. The museum’s rooftop bar will be open before and after the concert.

The performance features the jazz quartet, Aletheia, which takes its name from the Greek language, signifying truth.  Formed in 2023, the quartet brings together Tuscan musicians who come from different artistic and cultural experiences, whose common denominator is a predominantly jazz background.  The program includes classic American jazz favorites as well as original compositions by the guitarist Matteo Baldassini.

AILO is an organization whose members volunteer on major fund-raising events in the Florence metropolitan area.

Admission is €25 via Paypal at AILOFlorence1975 or €28 at the door.
