Minogue & Kidman Photo-ops at the Uffizi

Kylie Minogue and Nicole Kidman are the latest celebrities who visited the Uffizi Gallery, creating unique photo-ops last weekend.

Pop star Kylie Minogue visited the famous Florentine museum in ordinary outfit: jeans, a t-shirt and scarf and was granted a two hour guided tour by Uffizi director, Eike Schmidt. During the visit, they posed a creative picture, recreating an iconic Renaissance painting by looking at each other directly in front of the masterpiece by Piero della Francesca. One difference, beside the clothing, that can be noted in the updated version is that Minogue and Schmidt have happy smiles on their face when compared to the  “The Duke and Duchess of Urbino, Federico da Montefeltro and Battista Sforza.”

A day later, actress Nicole Kidman, also arrived in the Uffizi with her husband, Australian country rock singer-songwriter Keith Urban. Schmidt welcomed the stars to the Gallery and also gave them a tour. Another picture was taken, this time in the gallery hall, which also captured an unidentified male tourist in the background.

Kylie Minogue, who has over a million followers shared her feelings about the Florence on Instagram. Minogue expressed her feelings by captioning “WE LOVE you!” with the pink heart emoji under the “Creation of Adam,” which she copied with her creative director Paul Solomons and the statue of David by Michelangelo.
