‘Centro Ippico’ Open Days Offer Free Horseback Rides
Fun for the whole family continues throughout spring with “Open Days” at Centro Ippico Toscano the first Sunday of every month. Located in the middle of Cascine Park (via Vespucci 5), the center will open its doors to Florence residents from 3 pm to 6 pm and will provide children with free rides as well as information about lessons, riding courses and other activities.
Admission will be free to those who make reservations and attendees can also enjoy refreshments or an outdoor snack. Tours of the riding center’s facilities will be given to anyone who wishes to learn more about horseback riding and the programs offered.
The “Open Days” at the stables are aimed to increase awareness about the different horseback riding opportunities available to both children and adults in Florence in addition to giving the community a chance to interact more with the horses.
Horse lovers or just curious beginners can venture out to the stables for a day filled with riding and fun no matter what their level of experience may be. New riders who have never been in the saddle before can schedule beginner’s courses in small groups while more experienced riders can take the horses through the beautiful Cascine Park.
