Queen Elizabeth Commemorations at the British Institute Library

The British Institute of Florence has announced initiatives in commemoration of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

On Wednesday, September 14 at 6 pm, there will be a screening of  a 50 minute documentary film (in English: Queen Elizabeth II: a Life of Service), followed by a toast in her memory at the British Institute Library, at Lungarno Guicciardini 9.  All are welcome; free admission.

Books of Condolence have been placed in the Library (open Monday to  Friday 2:30 – 6:30 pm), and at the new Language Centre at Viale Mazzini n. 10 (open Monday to Friday 9 am – 7 pm), in which visitors may write their messages. The Books will be sent to the British Institute patron, King Charles III.
