Those booked on flights leaving from Tuscan airports — Peretola in Florence and the Galileo Galilei in Pisa — are advised to arrive at the airport several hours before departure. All must join the line normally reserved for non-EU nationals to have their documents checked by police. Difficulties are expected especially at the Florence airport with its high number of international flights.
Participants in the G7 event include Donald Trump of the U.S., Francois Holland and Emanuele Macron of France, Angela Merkel of Germany, Justin Trudeau of Canada, Paolo Gentiloni of Italy, Teresa May of Great Britain, Shinzo Abe of Japan, and Donald Tusk of the European Union.
