The William Tatge Quartet at the Pinocchio Jazz Club

The musicians are among the most best-known and original interpreters on the jazz scene today in Italy. Tatge, born in the Italian region of Umbria to American parents, moved to New York City in 2008. The group was formed in 2012, and hit the airways in 2015 with “Borderlands” for the label Parco della Musica Record. The quartet is known for its collective and refined improvisations, with spontaneous interplays of harmony, rhythm and timbre.
The other musicians are American saxophonist Dan Kinzelman, double bass player Francesco Ponticelli and Stefano Tamborrino on the drums.
