Cirque du Soleil’s Fantasy World

varekai-copyThis fall, Cirque du Soleil is coming back to Florence for a limited time with their production of Varekai, the first time it will be presented in Italy.

The show is directed by Dominic Champagne and illustrates the spirit and art of the circus and the adventures that await on the road to Varekai.

The story follows two men who embark on an adventure into an enchanted forest filled with fantastic creatures. Together they discover the mysteries of the world and of the human mind.

The Florentine stop of the Varekai tour will take place at the Nelson Mandela Forum in Piazza Enrico Berlinguer will run until Sunday October 30. Friday and Saturday will feature two extra shows at 4:30 pm. The final shows will take place on Sunday October 30 at 1:30 pm and 5 pm.

Patrons with disabilities must buy specific tickets which grant access to a helper or guardian by calling 055 210 804 or through the box office Tuscany website at www.boxofficetoscana.it.

Children aged 3 and under may enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult, but must sit on their guardian’s lap. Children aged 4 and up must have a ticket.
