The spring music season is off to a rockin’ start with a week of free concerts atop Piazzale Michelangelo through April 13.  Each performance of “Piazzale Soundset” will begin at sunset (around 7 pm) and continue into the night as the city begins to light up below.

Landlord the band rolls into town on Tuesday, April 11. Slated to break into the international music scene very soon, the group from Rimini (who competed on the talent show The X-Factor in 2015) will be performing their eclectic mix of ambient tones, electronic sounds, and classical music from their albums “Aside” and “Beside.”

 Italian music fans out there will be happy to know that Wednesday, April 12 marks the return of Diodato after his recent release of his new album “Cosa Siamo Diventati.” After competing in Sanremo 2014 with his song “Babylon,” he was awarded an MTV Italian music award for Best New Generation.

The last evening of the series on Thursday, April 13 will feature Peppe Voltarelli – famous singer, actor, and writer who just recently won Best Actor at the Targa Tenco awards 2016. His set will include a walk through time as he revisits his discography.
