Vasari Corridor Now Accessible

Starting September 27, the Vasari Corridor can once more be visited by small groups — a maximum of 22, including the guides — through November 30.  The reopening was initially announced — but did not become immediately effective — by the director of he Uffizi in August 2016.

Given the fact there is an absence of  security exits between the Uffizi and the Boboli Gardens, personnel have been trained in safety procedures, which they will demonstrate to groups at the beginning of each tour.  With the current situation, the physically challenged will not be able to participate in the experience.

The closure dates back to July 11; see Magenta article for details
