Florence Artisan Studio Shop
FIRENZE FACTORY SHOP. Hotel Lucchesi, Lungarno della Zecca Vecchia 38. Open Monday – Saturday 9 am- 1 pm, 5 – 10 pm.
Imagine visiting the best craft workshops in town at same time: Firenze Factory Shop gives the opportunity to do so and learn about the creative process as well. Thanks to this new initiative, a studio shop showcases the talents of 29 Florentine artisan designers who also share the secrets of their trade with visitors. This first-ever collective project emphasizes the potential of authentic local craftsmanship, a tradition deeply rooted in Florence.
Hand-made leather shoes for children by Hisashi Hidano; jewelry by the goldsmith Cristiano Pagnini; clothes decorated with silkscreen designs by Ink-P, mosaics, handmade hats and bags are just a few examples of the pieces available at the market.
Thanks to a partnership with Source — an association that supports creatives specializing in self-made design—handmade kitchenware and home decor items are also present on the counters of the Firenze Factory Shop.
The crafts collection is characterized by durability, high quality, and unique techniques. Their offerings reflect Florentine tradition, and the designers accept unique, custom-made orders.
Organizers promise real Florentine designs, the highest quality of artisan product, and enthusiastic artists, who are ready to fulfill unique requests, and will also share their knowledge with the public.
The rooftop terrace of Hotel Lucchesi hosts workshops and seminars so that the artists can share their knowledge with the public. The meet-and-greet evenings will continue during June and July starting at 6 pm. The schedule is as follows:
