Florence Easter Events This Weekend for Children

Easter is right around the corner and is a time for people of ages to come together in order to celebrate and continue traditions. This weekend, events will be take place around Florence for families and little ones to enjoy.

Children’s Lending Library Easter Party

The library will be holding an Easter party in the undercroft St. James Episcopal Church, Via Rucellai, 9, on Saturday, March 23 from 4 to 6 pm. It will cost €3 e per family for members and €5 per family non-members. The spring fundraiser for the library will focus on the custom of decorating Easter eggs. Kids should bring their own hard-boiled eggs (extra hard-boiled eggs will be on sale during the event). There will be a read along, crafts, games, plus books, toys, raffle tickets plus homemade American baked goods and refreshments for sale. 

Easter Egg Hunt

Orti Dipinti Community Park Garden (Borgo Pinti 76), will be hosting an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 23 from 10 am to 12 noon.  The cost is €5 per child or €10 per family and all profits will be donated to Vite Transformate an organization to fight exploitation and raising awareness of human trafficking.  (Sophia Koch)
