ZOOM LECTURE IN ENGLISH:  “The Origin of the Renaissance Palace Typology in Florence” is the theme of a talk given by Professor Lorenzo Vigotti organized by the British Institute of Florence at 6 pm.  Prof. Vigotti’s research identifies the stylistic progress – and the related change in society and taste – during the years of the Albizi oligarchy in Florence, leading to the emergence of a new kind of grand residence, anticipating the construction of Palazzo Medici.
